How much do you really know about your credit score? Do you know the difference between myth and fact?
To increase your knowledge about credit scores and credit score management, VantageScore and Consumer Federation of America (CFA) have made improvements to CreditScoreQuiz.org, a short, 12-question quiz that explains the high cost of low scores, what credit scores actually measure, who develops these scores, why scores rise or fall, and how to maintain a good score.
CreditScoreQuiz.org was first introduced after the first annual national credit score survey revealed a staggering gap in what American consumers knew and didn’t know about the credit score marketplace. Over the years, the site has been visited by hundreds of thousands of consumers just like you.
With the release of this year’s fifth annual survey, VantageScore and CFA announced that the site has been upgraded for better performance on mobile devices and streamlined to enable quicker completion of its multiple-choice questions. The update also adds a new question about alternative lending sources, and enhanced options for sharing results on social media.
