Share Your Savings Goal for America Saves Week

What better way to motivate yourself to save then by taking a picture of you and your savings goal and sharing it with friends and family? Your friends and family can help keep you motivated to save for your goal and may even help you save money, by suggesting cheap outings and activities. You may even inspire others to save by taking the lead.

It’s also true that people save more successfully when then have a goal in mind. We’ve created posters so you can put your savings goal into perspective and share it. You can be saving for something large like retirement or something smaller like an emergency fund. No matter what you’re saving for, saving is always important! What follows is a set of easy instructions to participate!

Here are the instructions:

  1. Download the poster (Military Version)
  2. Write your savings goal
  3. Take a picture
  4. Post your picture to our Facebook wall (Facebook.com/AmericaSaves or Facebook.com/MilitarySaves) and tweet us at @Americasaves or at @Militarysaves with the hashtag #ASW2013 or email your picture to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., America Saves Communications and Outreach Associate.
