Opportunity for Organizations: SaveYourRefund 2015

By Melissa Goldberg, Doorways to Dreams (D2D) Fund

The Doorways to Dreams (D2D) Fund is excited to announce SaveYourRefund 2015!

SaveYourRefund is a nationwide, prize-based savings promotion that motivates and incents consumers to save a portion of their tax refund by entering them to win cash prizes. Anyone who splits and saves $50 of their tax refund using Form 8888 can enter to win $35,000 in prizes from hundreds of weekly prizes to our life-changing Grand Prize.

We are currently seeking community tax preparation partners to offer SaveYourRefund at their tax sites for the 2015 tax season as well as promotional friends to help spread the word about the campaign. There is no cost to become a partner and by signing on, your tax site will have access to training materials, marketing collateral, and technical assistance during tax season to help you encourage your filers to save. For our friends, we will provide sample materials for print and digital marketing that can the easily be pushed out through multiple channels including email and Twitter.

Last year, with the support of over 90 partner sites and friends, SaveYourRefund helped nearly 3,000 individuals save for their children’s education, new homes, emergency funds, and more.  We hope to continue with this success in 2015 and our community tax preparation partners and promotional friends will play a huge role in this.

If you would like to sign on as a SaveYourRefund partner or friend please fill out this form. Please note in the form if your organization offers tax preparation and would like to become a partner or if your organization would like to commit to spreading the word about the campaign as a friend. Sign on now to gain login access to our first webinar this Tuesday, November 25th at 3:00pm EST. Can’t make it? Don’t worry! We’ll be hosting a second webinar on December 16th at 3:00pm EST.

We look forward to working with you and appreciate your support of savings at tax time and SaveYourRefund 2015!
