Students at Hartford Job Corps Academy recently participated in the Financial Action Fair Connecticut Saves Campaign partners and other organizations prepared brief financial education activities at their tables for the students to take part in. After visiting all the tables, the students visited the Connecticut Saves table and had the opportunity to take the Connecticut Saves pledge and enter into a drawing for personal finance books specifically written for young people.
The Connecticut Department of Banking sponsors this event showcasing financial education. Stop by and meet representatives from several key organizations involved in providing financial education in our state.
ENCOURAGING A 2020 VISION FOR SAVING Twitter Chat
