ASW2016 Savings Focus: Save for Retirement

It's officially day 3 of America Saves Week. If saving for retirement isn't among your savings goals, it's about time to start. The earlier savers contribute to their retirement savings accounts, the more they will earn over time from compound interest.

Saving now for retirement will ensure that you have enough money to have a comfortable standard of living when you stop or reduce the amount of hours you work. Participate in a work-related retirement program, open up a Roth IRA. Already saving? Increase the amount you save toward retirement by 1% in 2016.
