Let’s Get Digital: America Saves to Co-Host Tweetchat

Today at 3 PM EST/12 PM PST, America Saves (@AmericaSaves) is pleased to be the featured guest at the Experian (@Experian_US)#CreditChat, to chat about saving for retirement at any age! Join the conversation here!

Next week is National Save for Retirement Week, and we’ll be wrapping up our monthly savings theme on retirement. At America Saves, we believe that regardless of how old you are, saving for retirement, and starting early, are crucial.  A February 2013 America Saves survey found that only 50% of those not retired said they “save for retirement at work through a 401(k) or other contributory plan.” Knowing how much you will need to live a comfortable retirement and saving to reach that goal is the key. In our chat today, we’ll discuss ways in which to save successfully at any age.

Tomorrow, we’ll be participating in the American Bankers Associations’ first annual #GetSmartChat from 3-5 pm EST. They will have subject experts including @FAFSA, Identity Theft Resource Center (@ITRCSD) and @VantageScore will be ready to answer questions and provide valuable advice on the three main focuses of this year’s program: Paying for College, Protecting Your Identity, and Know Your Score. To participate, include the hashtag #GetSmartChat in any tweets.

To participate, simply log into any hashtag aggregator (we prefer TweetChatTwubs, or even HootSuite), track the hashtag#CreditChat for today’s Experian Tweet Chat, and #GetSmartChat for tomorrow’s American Bankers Association Tweet Chat, and then answer the questions provided by the moderator and/or co-host! Retweet others and get to know the people in this virtual mixer. It’s that simple!

They are saving for a big cushy chair for the little girl’s hard-working mother. Together with patience and diligence, they buy the mother a very comfy chair.
